Under general direction, plans, coordinates, directs, supervises, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for providing electrical engineering services for an assigned section or unit; ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures and performs most technical and complex engineering tasks. Performs other related duties.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical or related engineering field and eight years of increasingly responsible engineering experience in one or more of the following or related areas; transmission, distribution, generation, substation, energy management systems, grid operations or electric utility resources planning with a minimum of one year of experience as a lead or supervisor.
Registration with the State of California as a Professional Engineer is required.
A valid driver’s license issued by the State of California, Department of Motor Vehicles is required.
