What You'll Do

- Develop designs for natural gas engineering projects to modernize and improve our system

- Create AutoCAD drawings for construction under the supervision of Professional Engineers

- Project manage design projects with third party engineering consulting firms

- Analyze project scopes to identify risks and local requirements prior to construction

- Manage multiple projects by effectively prioritizing time and tasks

- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders

- Conduct occasional site visits to learn construction and build relationships

About You

- ABET-accredited B.S. Degree in Engineering required

- 2+ years’ experience in civil or mechanical engineering required

- EIT Certification (or ability to obtain within one year) required

- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite required

- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design products required

- Experience using ArcGIS software preferred

- Valid driver’s license required

Salary

$103,000 - $120,000 a year

Please be advised that due to the nature of this position, incumbents are subject to federal Drug & Alcohol safety regulations governing US Department of Transportation ("DOT") covered positions, including the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline Hazardous Material Safety Administration (PHMSA). As such, the Company’s testing programs and policies regarding the use of federally prohibited drugs or alcohol, for recreational or medical purposes, will remain in effect for these safety-sensitive, DOT covered positions.
