Job Summary
Supervise the work of other employees in executing Green Country plant operation responsibilities to achieve efficient, safe, and reliable operation of the plant and its equipment through leading operations staff. Monitor operations crews costs and identify reasons for, and mitigate variances.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Maintain and ensure safe working conditions, use of proper tools and equipment, and protective clothing & devices. This includes housekeeping activities, participation in accident investigations and the use of root cause analysis or other methods in order to maintain a safe work environment.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education:
Bachelor's or Associate degree in technical field or equivalent applied knowledge (see experience).
Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of power plant experience to include 3 years of supervisory experience; or Associate's degree and 8 years power plant experience to include 3 years in supervision; or high school diploma/GED and 10 years of power plant experience with 3 years of supervisory experience.
Preferred experience working at a gas-powered power plant with a combined cycle GE 7A gas turbine
OTHER: Employees are subject to Federal drug testing as power plant employees and will be subject to random drug screenings
