Responsibilities
This position offers a valuable learning opportunity for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience in Energy Marketing. As an Energy Marketing Student with us the minimum responsibilities are:
•Assist Energy Marketing team with building, running and maintaining various analytical and optimization models.
•Provide assistance with the calculation and analysis of monthly prices, facility optimization & profitability, tariffs and transportation costs.
•Coordinate trucking processes for R360 oil movements including managing invoices, tracking rates, and providing recommendations.
•Tracking and updating quality information in the Energy Marketing quality database.
•Monitor volume movements and quality, troubleshooting any variances and providing logistical support as needed.
•Providing administrative support to the team as required.
•Contributing to special projects, offering fresh perspectives and assisting as time allows.
•Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
•Performing other tasks as assigned, allowing for hands-on experience in a professional setting.
What We Need From You
•Working knowledge of the principles and practices of Energy Marketing
•High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
•Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage professionally with internal stakeholders.
•Initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficiency with computer tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams), Zoom, and other collaboration platforms.
•Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
•Interest or academic background in Energy Marketing or related fields is preferred.
•Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
