As part of this commitment, we are hiring a dedicated Embedded Security Technician to support one of our key clients directly on-site in Wilmington, DE.
Position Overview:
As an Embedded Security Technician, you’ll be permanently assigned to a client location, acting as the on-site expert for all electronic security systems. You'll provide front-line support for maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and coordination of service-related issues. This role demands strong technical knowledge, customer service, and professionalism, as you will be representing both Nino Development and our client every day.
Key Responsibilities:
•Serve as the on-site technician for all electronic security system needs, including:
•Video surveillance (CCTV)
•Intercoms and badging systems
•Conduct regular system inspections, preventive maintenance, and diagnostics.
•Respond quickly to service requests, system faults, and alerts, ensuring minimal downtime.
•Maintain detailed logs of service activity, configuration changes, and performance reports.
•Coordinate with off-site teams, manufacturers, and integrators for system repairs or escalations.
•Support system upgrades and new installations in coordination with project management.
•Ensure all work complies with security policies, safety standards, and industry best practices.
•Build and maintain a strong relationship with the client, offering technical guidance and support as needed.
Required Qualifications:
•3+ years of experience in electronic security systems (service, maintenance, or installation).
•Familiarity with common systems/platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch, or Honeywell.
•Strong understanding of access control hardware, CCTV cameras, and alarm wiring.
•Experience working in client-facing or embedded/on-site technical roles.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
•Basic networking skills (IP addressing, switch configuration, remote access tools).
•Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
•Must pass a background check and be eligible for access to secured facilities.
•Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for training or backup support, if needed.
