We are growing here at Daanaa and we’re looking to add a Hardware Electronics Engineer to join our team to help develop Daanaa’s power electronics products and bring them to market. As a Embedded Firmware Engineer, you’ll be reporting to the Firmware Engineer Lead .The mission as a Embedded Firmware Engineer is tohelp develop solutions for our power electronics products and bring them to life
What you’ll be doing:
•Embedded Development: You will be developing and maintaining embedded C/C++ firmware for microcontrollers at the center of our power electronic solutions.
•Firmware Integration: You will write drivers and low-level code to control and manage hardware resources efficiently including SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM and CAN.
•Compliance and Standards: You will be developing firmware for compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications relevant to the specific domain and application area.
•Collaboration: Ensure that firmware optimizes interactions with hardware peripherals, sensors, actuators, and other external devices by validating implementation with hardware engineers.
•Support and Manufacturability: Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and firmware architecture, participate in code reviews, documentation and version control workflows.
You should apply if…
•You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
•You have proficiency in C/C++, Python, and general scripting languages.
•You have 1-5 Years of firmware development for digital and analog control systems, and power electronic applications including battery management systems and inverters.
•You have development experience with ARM/C2000 Microcontrollers, bootloaders, build environments and real time operating systems.
•You have development experience with subsystem-level blocks such as device drivers, RTOS, middleware, and major application components.
•You are confident with troubleshooting and identifying root causes for product failures and can conduct research to find new/established alternate solutions
•You have exposure to embedded development tools such as IDEs, debuggers and lab equipment.
Compensation and Benefits Package:
•Daanaa’s compensation package is based on a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical salary range for this position is from $70,000 - $90,000 per year. This may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
