Work with other journeyman and apprentice electricians to complete site specific tasks. Assist in oversight of site electrical projects.
Most of our work is for in-house commercial and industrial fabrication jobs as well as commercial and industrial electrical specific and general contracting projects. All projects require basic knowledge of electrical trade, installs, service, and mechanical installations.
- 1 to 4+ years of residential and/or commercial electrical experience.
- Ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to quickly measure and understand dimensions to 1/16” increments.
- Ability to bend and install conduit (PVC, EMT, Rigid, Flex, and MC.)
- Ability to use hand tools to build conduit, electrical component infrastructure.
- Familiarity with band saw, sawzall, mag drills, knockout kits, crimp tool.
- Familiarity and ability to work with ladders, scissor lifts, scaffolding, and man lifts.
- Ability to understand wire sizes, ampacities, and uses of cables (MTW, THHN, XHHW).
- Ability to pull wire and understand necessary termination lengths.
- Ability to terminate wires cleanly and organized per set prints.
- Ability to work physically where you must be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete specific tasks.
- Desire to increase skills, knowledge, and advance within the company.
- Willingness to perform all tasks required to complete projects and keep schedules.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
Summary
The Electrician position requires a skilled individual with a strong foundation in core electrical skills such as using hand tools, low voltage systems, understanding NEC codes, and proficiency with power tools. Premium skills in programmable logic controllers, industrial and commercial electrician experience are highly valued. Additionally, relevant skills in blueprint reading, high voltage systems, renovation, construction, and familiarity with schematics, frame carpentry, and handyman tasks are beneficial for success in this role.
