The Electrical Technician Helper assists with installs, services, and repairs electrical systems; assists with sales and design of new systems.
1. Assist Journeyman or Master Electrician with residential and commercial work orders.
2. Assists on installs, and repairs to electrical systems.
3. Maintains proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle to ensure work can be completed efficiently.
4. Participates in company provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies.
5. Assists and backs up technicians in other departments.
6. This position regularly interacts with customers, other employees (dispatchers, other technicians, drivers, and office personnel) and equipment and parts supply vendors.

Associates of Science Degree with a concentration in Electrical strongly preferred, Maine State Electrical Helpers License required, a valid driver's license is required. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Safety considerations relate to safe operation of the service vehicle, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment, proper lifting of heavy parts or equipment, and general observation of the surroundings where work is being done. Icy, slippery conditions are a primary concern during winter. Use of industry related equipment including all types of hand tools, testing equipment, power tools, along with appropriate gauges and meters.
The position requires frequent driving, standing, walking, and sitting. There is occasional to frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing. There is frequent use of the hands/arms to reach, feel, handle, lift or pull. There is frequent communication involving both talking and listening.
