Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Utility Safety Manager to oversee and enhance safety protocols at our construction sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing effective risk management strategies, and fostering a culture of safety among all team members. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe working environment while supporting the overall success of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
•Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
•Conduct regular safety audits and inspections on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
•Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency response procedures.
•Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety measures into construction management processes.
•Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate occupational health services as needed.
•Analyze incident reports and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences through effective risk management.
•Stay updated on changes in NEC codes, industry standards, and best practices related to construction safety.
•Utilize construction management software to track safety metrics, incidents, and compliance documentation.
