Are you an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a passion for clean energy and strong leadership skills? OE Solar, a leading solar energy contractor based in Albuquerque, NM, is actively seeking a Solar Electric Superintendent to join our team and lead major commercial solar installations.
This is a full-time position with immediate need on a high-profile solar project launching in September. Long-term employment will primarily be based in Albuquerque, with occasional travel to other project sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
•Oversee all phases of solar electrical installations from planning to completion.
•Manage field operations, material procurement, and daily reporting.
•Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to meet project deadlines.
•Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and project-specific protocols.
•Lead and mentor electrical crews while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
•Handle on-site problem-solving and respond quickly to emergencies or project challenges.
•Maintain effective communication between field staff and head office.
•Submit timely reports, timesheets, and scheduling updates to project management.
Qualifications:
•3–5+ years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial or industrial environments.
•Active EE98J Electrical License, or NABCEP (New Mexico).
•Strong leadership and organizational skills; proven ability to manage crews and timelines.
•Demonstrated knowledge of NEC, solar PV systems, and commercial wiring standards.
•Able to pass a federal background check (required for certain project access).
•Proficient in interpreting electrical schematics, site plans, and technical documentation.
