Overview

In this role, you’ll lead electrical engineering projects from initiation through completion, with a focus on EPC energy projects, including sales, cost estimation, project scope definition, risk mitigation, and client communications. Responsibilities
•Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure strict adherence to timelines, cost controls and technical specifications, industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
•Coordinate project teams, including electrical engineers, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
•Conduct regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables
•Handle project-related invoicing and contract management, ensuring accurate billing and timely payments
•Oversee the procurement of materials, resources, and equipment needed for project execution
•Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth and development within the team
Skills
•3+ years of experience managing electrical engineering projects, with a strong focus on EPC energy projects
•An electrical background as an engineer or technologist with relevant field experience
•PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification (including in progress) is a plus
•Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, codes, and standards (e.g., CEC, IEC, IEEE)
•Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6)
•Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams in an engineering environment
•Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and adaptability skills in dynamic environments
•Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused results
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
