Busbar Installations and Manufacturers, a leader in the busbar industry, is looking for an experienced and qualified Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team at our Johannesburg branch.

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from planning and design to execution and completion—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Project Planning & Scheduling – Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

✅ Budget & Cost Control – Manage project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.

✅ Risk & Change Management – Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and manage project changes effectively.

✅ Resource Allocation – Ensure the availability of personnel, equipment, and materials for seamless execution.

✅ Stakeholder Communication – Maintain clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.

✅ Documentation & Compliance – Prepare and maintain project reports, drawings, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

✅ Team Leadership & Coordination – Lead, motivate, and coordinate teams to ensure high-quality workmanship and productivity.

✅ Progress Monitoring & Problem-Solving – Track project milestones, identify issues early, and implement corrective actions as needed.

✅ Technical Expertise – Possess strong knowledge of electrical systems, busbar technology, LV/MV switchgear, and relevant regulations.

Who Should Apply?

🎓 Qualifications & Experience:

✔ Minimum 5 years’ experience in Project Management (a relevant qualification is an advantage)

✔ Experience working on construction sites

✔ Knowledge of busbar systems and LV/MV switchgear manufacturing is beneficial

✔ Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

✔ Valid driver’s license
