About This Job

Advanced City Electric is seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This is a key role for someone experienced in the construction industry who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an impact.

Responsibilities:

•

Prepare detailed estimates for electrical work including lighting, controls, power distribution, switchgear, service, and cooling towers

•

Review and interpret construction plans and specifications

•

Price lighting packages and electrical systems accurately based on market conditions

•

Stay up to date with current market pricing for conduit, copper, fixtures, and related materials

•

Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers

•

Work under deadlines to produce timely and competitive bids

•

Collaborate with project managers and field teams as needed

Requirements:

•

Proven experience in electrical estimating within the electrical industry

•

A minimum of at least 4 years of experience

•

Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and materials

•

Familiarity with bid software and estimating tools

•

Excellent time management and communication skills

•

Ability to work independently and under pressure

•

Proficiency in estimating and takeoff software

•

Familiarity with Procore, BuildingConnected, Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
