Electrical Engineer, P.E. – PV Design/Renewables (Hybrid)

Talva Energy is a rapidly growing renewable energy firm specializing in consulting, development, and engineering. We work in the public and private sectors in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Western regions of the United States. At Talva, we provide consulting services and turnkey solutions for customers seeking PV Solar, Microgrid, Electric Fleet Conversion, Geothermal/Heat Pump Conversion, Roofing Solutions, and other energy conservation measures.

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer, P.E., with expertise in designing and generating construction documents for mid- to large-scale solar PV and BESS power systems, who wants to work as a team player within our progressive firm. The ideal candidate will be a NABCEP-certified PE with lengthy experience working on PV systems ranging from 100 kW to 5 MW in the public and private sectors.

Location

This position is based out of Warwick, NY headquarters, with a flexible, hybrid work schedule of 50% remote-home-office and 50% travel. Regularly required project travel will be mostly in the northeast region, but, at times, may be beyond this region. The company covers the cost of company travel. Candidates must be based out of NY, NJ, or CT, but preferrable in the NY metropolitan area.
