Principal

Drive Engineering is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer with 10 years of experience to work on various transportation industry projects. This individual will primarily perform varying tasks related to electrical design associated with deploying technology assets along roadways. Design elements include intelligent transportation devices (cameras, DMS, detection sensors), 5G, DSRC, traffic signals, and tolling equipment.

Primary job responsibilities will include plan development, specification development, design calculations, field surveys, construction services, shop drawing review, and related technical writing for regional transportation projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region. This job generally operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
