Electrical Engineer

Position Description

KCI Engineering Consultants is seeking full-time Electrical Engineer to perform technical work in support of Nuclear Power Plant projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Design analysis & calculations

- Environmental/Equipment Qualification (EQ)

- Engineering change packages

- Licensing & engineering evaluations

- Respond to regulatory concerns.

- Support design modification installation activities

Preferred knowledge and experience

- Nuclear power plant components and systems

- Design, development and delivery of design modification packages, and projects for nuclear power plants

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program

- Experience - at least 2 years’ professional industry experience (position based upon experience)

Optimal Qualifications

- Extensive Commercial Nuclear Power Plant Experience

- Advanced technical degree or related coursework

- Professional Engineer Registration (within IL, PA, WA, and others is ideal)

MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Legally Authorized to work in the United States. MUST BE EITHER: A USA Citizen or Have USA Permanent Resident status (Have a valid Green Card), or

- We cannot hire applicants with temporary work authorization or who require sponsorship.

- 2 Years minimum professional work experience in the utility, power or nuclear power industry

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
