The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled EIC Measurement Technician to join our NGTL Operations team, based in Manning, AB. Reporting to the Area Manager, the technician will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform planned maintenance and corrective tasks on assigned electronic, pneumatic, and/or mechanical control systems, devices, and ancillary equipment.

The successful candidate will also operate and maintain natural gas measurement and instrumentation equipment in a manner that meets operational needs, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements. This individual must be a self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision, who possesses excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills.The regular work schedule for this position will be:Week 1 - Monday to Thursday 9 hours per dayWeek 2 - Monday to Thursday 9 hours per day; 8 hours on Friday

What you’ll do* Support natural gas measurement equipment (flow/pressure control systems, RTU’s, orifice meters, Coriolis meters, ultrasonic meters, hydrocarbon dewpoint analyzers, H2S analyzers, gas chromatograph’s) and other systems and equipment relevant to the pipeline system

Minimum Qualifications* Completion of fourth year of trades program or two years of technical training

Preferred Qualifications* Completion of a trades program (Journeyman Ticket) in Electrical or Instrumentation

This position requires candidates to:* Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract for review
