Role Descript
ion:We are seeking a proactive and experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs for land development activities related to a high-profile data center construction project. The ideal candidate will ensure strict compliance with corporate, client, and regulatory safety standards while fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewards
hip.
Key Responsibil
•itiesDevelop, implement, and oversee site-specific EHS plans for data center land develop
•ment.Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and weekly safety meet
•ings.Perform hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement mitigation meas
•ures.Investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe behaviors; document and apply corrective act
•ions.Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., emissions, stormwater, noise, wa
•ste).Track and report environmental KPIs, including energy and water usage, dust control, and materials recyc
•ling.Coordinate with environmental consultants to meet sustainability standards (e.g., L
•EED).Maintain up-to-date EHS documentation for audits and inspect
•ions.Deliver comprehensive EHS training, including onboarding for subcontrac
•tors.Serve as liaison with client EHS representatives and regulatory authori
ties.
Preferred Qualifications/ Relevant Expe
•rienceBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related
•field.5+ years of EHS experience in construc
•tion. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local EHS regula
•tions.Professional certifications preferred: CHST, CSP, NEBOSH, or si
•milar.Strong interpersonal and communication s
kills.
