Job Summary
Join our dynamic team where you will be responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of machines, structures, or systems. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in developing functional requirements, creating simulations and prototypes, testing components, and ensuring the overall quality and efficiency of our products. You will have the opportunity to investigate failures, recommend improvements, and contribute to the success of major projects within the organization.
Responsibilities
•
Serve as the technical project engineer or subject matter expert for assigned areas of responsibility.
•
Apply extensive technical expertise and understanding of basic principles across related disciplines.
•
Conceive plans to develop procedures, codes, and standards in complex problem areas.
•
Lead multiple critical and complex projects from design to evaluation of results.
•
Participate in bid/evaluation processes and serve as an organization spokesperson on advanced projects.
•
Provide oversight of engineers, technicians, and other professionals as needed.
•
Coordinate budgeting, estimating, forecasting, accounting, and work order management processes.
Skills
•
Strong understanding and application of standard engineering principles.
•
Ability to develop simulations and prototypes for preliminary designs.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.
•
Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
•
Leadership abilities to provide direction to a team when necessary.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum or recognized equivalency required.
•
9+ years of relevant engineering experience with PE (Professional Engineer) registration preferred.
Pay Rate Range
Min Pay Rate Max Pay Rate Currency Unit 58.97 78.63 USD hourly
