Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed, skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a Dump Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to and from construction sites, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations. Work locations will vary but primarily in Utah County, Salt Lake County and Tooele County.
Responsibilities
•
Operate dump truck and other heavy equipment as well as transport equipment and materials.
•
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
•
Load and unload materials and equipment efficiently while maintaining proper weight distribution.
•
Collaborate with site managers and other team members to coordinate material deliveries according to project timelines.
•
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
•
Maintain accurate records of materials transported and any incidents that occur during operations.
•
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and report any mechanical issues promptly.
•
Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
Qualifications
•
Valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) with a clean driving record. Must provide a current MVR, medical certificate and pass a drug test.
•
Must know how to operate 18-speed manual transmission.
•
Secure loading materials and equipment for safe transportation including tarping and some load rearranging.
•
Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks or similar heavy equipment.
•
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation.
•
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
•
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:

Home daily
•
Monday to Friday
•
Weekends as needed
