Description: Driver/ Material Handler (LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY)
Summary: PSS Industrial Group is looking for a motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills to succeed in a Driver/ Material Handler position for our branch in Lafayette, LA
Primary responsibilities:
•
Pick up and deliver products using company vehicles in the local area
•
Assist with warehouse duties including loading and unloading of material
•
Pick orders per established branch protocol
•
Assist with packing and shipping of customer orders
•
Follow all warehouse and drive safety regulations
Qualifications:
•
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
•
Current and Valid Driver's License for the last 3 years
•
Must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for our fleet insurance
•
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
•
Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills
•
Knowledge of warehousing processes and basic safety regulations
•
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•
A strong sense of urgency and commitment to effectively and timely serve our customers
•
Knowledge of the pipeline supply and service industry is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
