Drilling Rig Design Engineer

Responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the construction of drilling rigs, and drilling rig components used in oil and gas exploration and production. This role combines expertise in mechanical engineering, structural design, and oilfield operations to create safe, efficient, and reliable rigs that meet project specifications and conform to industry standards. (API, IADC,etc.) Essential Job Responsibilities:* Design Development: Create detailed designs and blueprints for drilling rigs, including structural components, mechanical systems, and equipment layouts, using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).

Other Job Responsibilities:* Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PE) is a plus.

Education Requirements:* Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college in engineering or closely related degree.
