The Drawer Box Operator must act according to Leedo's core values: the PCMS of Drawer Box Line procedures which place controls in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Our goal is making our customers successful, taking care of our team, pursuing excellence, and maximize our profits.
The Drawer Box Operator is responsible for all Drawer Boxes that are built on this machine. Operator is also responsible for checking incoming material quality and tolerances as well as following the schedule. Preventive maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Responsible for ensuring all material is correct type and color.
Responsible for building Drawer Boxes that meet Leedo quality standards.
Responsible for preventive maintenance action items performed daily at company standards.
Responsible for complete drawer box quantity per batch and schedule.
Responsible for leading by example in regard to attendance, PPE requirements, breaks, and to drive compliance in all areas.
Additional duties as assigned by Drawer Box Supervisor.
Must be able to perform data entry tasks
Must be able to distinguish colors and finishes.
Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties as needed.
Must have a basic ability for reading and writing,
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
Factory Distribution environment will include some heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
