Document Destruction Route Driver

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver/pick up/shred products on assigned routes

- Load and unload products manual methods

- Follow schedules and routes to ensure timely and efficient days

- Deals with confidential information

- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner

- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition

- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

Qualifications:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and Class B CDL

- Previous experience in route driving, courier services, or related field is preferred

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills

- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Able to pass background check

- Attention to detail and ability to plan in advance

Note: This job does require some overnight travel and is an out of town route most days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
