As a District Sales Manager Direct, you will drive the growth of our Lubricants business in line with the Group’s roadmap and ambitions. You’ll build brand recognition by selling products such as heavy-duty engine oils, passenger car motor oils, synthetic lubricants, greases, and specialty products—primarily through direct accounts including wholesalers, independent auto repair shops, dealerships, fleets, and occasionally distributors.

You’ll be responsible for developing new business and expanding our customer base, while serving as a trusted sales partner to key accounts. Your positive attitude and resilience help you overcome challenges, and your collaborative spirit ensures the success of your team and department. The role requires a safe driving record, the ability to work remotely, and residency in the southern territory, which includes Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina, with an established business network.

Activités

- Apply the TotalEnergies Marketing USA Road Map to guide all sales and customer engagement activities.

- Analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions, positioning TotalEnergies as a trusted business partner.

- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key accounts and prospective customers.

- Achieve business growth and profitability objectives for the sales district, as set by the OEM's Direct Sales Director

- Maintain an accurate database of customer interactions and new business activities using TotalEnergies CRM tools.

- Collaborate closely with the Distributor Sales team to support customers participating in national programs.

- Work cross-functionally with departments such as Sales Support and Marketing to achieve budgeted growth objectives.

- Report weekly and monthly results to management, following guidelines set by your manager.

- Represent the company at events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.

- Gather and report field intelligence on price movements, competitive programs, and industry trends using Pricinsight tools.


Qualifications

- Well organized, with strong oral and written communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

- Experience with Power BI preferred.

- Experience with Salesforce Now preferred.

- College degree in Business Administration, Management, or Marketing preferred.

- Previous sales experience mandatory

You will report to the OEM's Direct Sales Director

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and develop an assigned sales territory of direct customers within the southern territory, which includes Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Candidates should have an established professional network in this area.

- Market our branded lubricants to direct accounts within the defined territory.

- Focus on synthetic passenger car engine oils, heavy-duty diesel engine oils, greases, and transmission fluids.

- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, executing business development plans to meet budgeted sales and profitability objectives.

- Develop sales relationships with Buying Group members.

- Manage direct sales to Kia Dealerships, Navistar, CFS, and other national program business as assigned.

- Establish annual objectives and goals for customers on a case-by-case basis.
