Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Wabash Valley Power is a not-for-profit electric cooperative and wholesale provider of reliable, affordable electricity to our 23 electric distribution member cooperatives. These cooperatives in turn serve more than 300,000 homes, businesses, and farms in Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri.

Job Description

We are seeking an Distributed Energy Resources Engineer with expertise in the integration of distributed generation systems and policy development. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of electric distribution system operations, utility rate structures, and the operational challenges of integrating distributed energy resources into the grid. The role requires a professional who can balance autonomy and teamwork, with excellent communication skills for writing and reviewing policies related to distributed energy resource interconnections and operations.
