We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Director of Supply Chain
to lead procurement, logistics, vendor management, and materials planning across our North and Latin American operations. This role is critical to ensuring cost-effective, timely, and reliable supply chain performance for large-scale EPC projects—including high-demand data center infrastructure and energy storage deployments.
You will work cross-functionally with engineering, construction, legal, and finance to manage supplier relationships, optimize sourcing strategies, and support project execution at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy for all On.Energy projects, including sourcing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management
- Develop and manage a high-performance vendor network for key materials: switchgear, transformers, batteries, inverters, cabling, etc.
- Oversee contract negotiations, purchase agreements, and long-lead equipment procurement
- Align procurement activities with project delivery timelines and cash flow targets
- Implement systems and KPIs for supply chain visibility, cost control, and performance tracking
- Mitigate risks related to material delays, shortages, pricing volatility, and regulatory compliance
- Manage cross-border logistics and customs processes for international projects
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting
- Lead supply chain team development, training, and performance management
- Contribute to ESG and supplier diversity initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, ideally within the energy, construction, or infrastructure sectors- Proven track record managing supply chains for complex, multi-million-dollar projects
- Experience with global sourcing and vendor negotiations.
- Strong understanding of commercial terms, INCOTERMS, contract structuring, and risk management
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), logistics tracking, and procurement tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Willingness to travel to suppliers and project sites (up to 20%)
