This position is to develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive rapid adoption. You’ll build deep relationships with major customers, becoming their trusted advisor on powder and processes used in defense applications. Collaborating with application engineers, you’ll translate technical capabilities into powerful value propositions.

2. Responsible for business development, customer relationships, as well as representing Steward in a courteous and professional manner.
3. Responsible for the sales and marketing SAM products and managing the customer service function within Steward.
4. his includes the development, operation and administration of the sales, product promotional literature, website, market research, price structure and other sales related functions.
5. Have the ability to Identify new business opportunities and develops a business case for executive management approval to pursue.
6. Have the ability to conduct contract negotiations, sales proposals and completes and maintains all agreements.
7. Through a coordinated effort determines, formulates, and maintains sales forecasts, goals, budgets, policies and practices pertinent to the sales operations on a long- and short-term basis for executive management approval.
8. Networks with customers and peers across the United States and worldwide to determine key areas of focus (markets, end uses, applications, etc.) to create value propositions and to develop a plan to grow through product design, promotional programs, follow up of samples, customer calls, etc.
9. Strive to maintain a competitive position by keeping management informed on changes in the market that could affect our products and customer base.
10. Skills to work closely with other functions in the organization on matters such as product design, competitive pricing, manufacturing, payment terms, etc.
11. Periodic visits to the field to meet with customers to resolve problems, present new ideas, look for new opportunities, and obtain better insight into competitive situations that will aid in decision making.
12. Have the skill to where applicable establishes channels by which products are promoted and distributed.
13. Have the ability to contact existing customers who purchase on a regular basis to assist in re-order process based on historical order behavior and forecast.
