This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Regional Affairs, located in Tampa, FL. The Director of Regional Affairs will oversee and manage the company’s interactions with regional stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, local governments, and community organizations. Key responsibilities include leading regional initiatives, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and representing the company at regional meetings and events. The role also involves coordinating with various internal departments to align regional affairs strategies with overall company goals.
- Experience in regulatory affairs, policy development, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of the energy industry and regional regulations
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with regional stakeholders
- Project management skills and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in a director-level role or equivalent is preferred
