Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead our Residential Install Division. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our residential solar installation operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, results-driven leader with proven experience managing high-volume solar projects and teams.

Duties

•

Oversee all residential solar operations, including scheduling, permitting, installation, inspections, and post-install support.

•

Manage and scale a high-volume operation (50–100 installs/month) with attention to timelines, budgets, and quality control.

•

Collaborate with internal departments including sales, engineering, and finance to streamline operations and ensure project completion.

•

Monitor KPIs and continuously improve process efficiency and team performance.

•

Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and permitting requirements.

•

Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

Qualifications

•

Minimum 5+ years of experience in the solar industry, specifically in residential operations management.

•

Proficiency in Aurora Solar, Oracle NetSuite, and Site Capture is required—no exceptions.

•

Demonstrated ability to manage 50–100 installations per month in a fast-paced environment.

•

Strong leadership and organizational skills with a proven ability to scale operations.

•

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
