Our company is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration to oversee the accounting and clerical departments. Your responsibilities encompass strategizing and overseeing all accounting operational aspects. You'll be in charge of orchestrating the gathering and consolidation of financial data for both internal and external financial statements. Your role also involves analyzing accounting systems and internal controls while providing guidance to the departmental staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Develop daily cash-flow reports projecting precise cash needs and manage all associated cash requirements.
•Direct the finance department's activities, including overseeing accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll. Manage monthly and annual closure of income statements and balance sheets, conduct account reconciliations, and perform G/L analysis.
•Supervise all accounting functions, encompassing billing, accounts receivable, customer credit, accounts payable, inventory costing, fixed assets, general ledger upkeep, and financial reporting.
•Collaborate closely with the executive team and partners to streamline firm-wide operations effectively.
•Present monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partners. Oversee the production of annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring them on a monthly basis.
•Implement strategies for enhanced efficiencies and cost reduction throughout the business.
•Ensure precise payroll processing and meet all related reporting compliance requirements.
•Lead and supervise a team of 3, providing guidance, overseeing work to ensure compliance with company standards.
•Collaborate with CPA firm to finalize Annual Review and facilitate tax planning.
•Spearhead the development and implementation of efficiency and cost reduction strategies company wide. Oversee the creation of annual budgets and forecasts while maintaining monthly monitoring.
•Proven capability to craft and deliver compelling presentations tailored to diverse audiences.
•Exceptional experience in technology, analytics, and management is a prerequisite.
•Committed to meeting business deadlines with an extensive command of Microsoft Excel.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
•3-5 years of prior experience running a finance department.
•Familiarity with procurement policies and procedures is necessary.
•Proficiency in computer and technology use. Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel (including MS Office: Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
•Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.
•Capable in project management

•Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and adeptly managing deadlines.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
