Foster a culture of continual improvement through proactive problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and regular performance reviews.
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Service to align priorities and enhance cross-functional execution.
Ensure engineering practices meet diverse regional requirements and customer expectations, adapting as needed for global projects.
Serve as a clear and trusted liaison between executive leadership and the engineering organization.
Support business development and customer interactions with strong technical insight and solution-oriented thinking.
Promote a team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, innovation, and long-term excellence.
Provide clear strategic leadership to the engineering organization, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term business goals.
Translate vision into structured systems, sustainable teams, and disciplined engineering operations that scale across global markets.
Oversee the full lifecycle of product design and development for wellhead, gate valve, and production flow technologies—ensuring all deliverables meet applicable codes, standards, and customer requirements.
Establish and drive structured, repeatable engineering processes, leveraging Total Quality Management principles to promote quality, consistency, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Service to resolve technical challenges, streamline workflows, and align priorities.
Lead the implementation and refinement of engineering KPIs, SOPs, and process controls to monitor performance and foster continuous improvement.
Mentor and develop engineering talent, building a high-performing team culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and professional growth.
Ensure regional compliance and adaptability of engineering practices to serve both North American and international project needs effectively.
Complete root cause analysis, along with accurate reporting.
Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and process innovations to maintain competitiveness and improve lab and design efficiencies.
Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Establish career opportunities through development and training.
Actively support Sales and Operations in customer engagements, providing strong technical expertise to enhance relationships and drive business growth.
Champion cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives that eliminate inefficiencies and improve the overall quality of engineering outputs.
Manage workflow across Engineering, R&D, and Aftermarket Services (AMS) to ensure consistent progress, transparency, and accountability.
Represent the engineering function in executive discussions, contributing to the development and execution of corporate strategy and operational planning.


Preferred Candidates Will Possess

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering; a Master’s degree or MBA is considered a strong asset.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience in wellhead systems, gate valves, and pressure control equipment, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership or management role.
Proven experience leading engineering efforts across both domestic and international oil and gas projects, including navigating complex customer requirements, regulatory frameworks, and cross-cultural team dynamics.
In-depth knowledge of industry codes, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., API, ASME, ISO) applicable to global oilfield equipment design and manufacturing.
Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary engineering teams in fast-paced, technically demanding environments.
Strong track record in managing international project execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and quality expectations.
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to transform technical strategies into clear operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience interfacing with global clients, partners, and internal teams at all levels.
Effective in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement, using data-driven insights to enhance engineering processes and product outcomes.
Proficient in modern engineering tools, digital platforms, and project management software.
Highly organized, self-directed, and adaptable to shifting priorities and global business demands.
