Director of Engineering and Operations

Engineering & Ops Director in Roseburg. Lead design, Constr., & Maint. of DEC's distribution, transmission, & substation infrastructure. Ensure compliance w/ NESC, NEC, & regs. Manage SCADA systems, ensuring,smooth op., Maint., & upgrades. Oversee engr. designs, reports, studies, estimates, & layouts for elec. facility installations & Maint. Lead project Mgmt efforts to ensure timely completion. Develop & enforce Constr. standards, material specifications, & quality control. Provide leadership in budgeting, capital planning, & financial Mgmt. Ensure compliance w/ safety & env. regs. Manage labor relations. Collaborate w/ engr. firms, oversee bidding processes, & manage contract execution. Ensure system reliability thru vegetation Mgmt, joint use pole Agrmts., & renewable energy generation connections. Oversee procurement, warehouse Mgmt, inventory control, fleet Mgmt, safety, & facilities. Lead efforts in renewable energy integration, streetlight design, & PCB waste handling in line w/ env. regs. Implement succession planning, training programs, & process Impvt. Report project updates & developments to DEC's Board of Dirs. & regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance w/ NERC CIP standards & lead business continuity & disaster planning efforts. Travel within 25 miles of DEC up to 30% of time. Mail resume to Keith Brooks, Douglas Elec.
