The Director of Culture is a strategic leader responsible for building and sustaining professional development and culture systems that enhance employee growth, engagement, and belonging. Reporting to the Chief Culture Officer, this role designs and manages organization-wide professional development strategies, supports managers in leading change, and ensures ETR’s workplace culture aligns with organizational values and evolving workforce needs.
The Director supervises the Culture Manager and collaborates closely with the HR Director, Data & Insights, Integration, and Operations leaders. This role develops training materials, coaching resources, and leadership development initiatives, positioning professional development and culture as core elements of the employee experience.
This is a remote position and is open to candidates based anywhere in the United States.

- Master’s degree in organizational development, HR, education, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in organizational development, professional development, or culture change.
- Demonstrated success designing and implementing professional development programs.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring.- Strong background in change management and organizational development.
- Experience facilitating adult learning and developing training materials.
- Ability to design and evaluate programs using surveys and data analysis.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual learning platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred.
- Lived experience that informs understanding of belonging and organizational culture strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to apply equity-centered practices in professional development and culture work strongly preferred.
- Able and willing to travel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and records with tact and discretion.
- The use of a personal vehicle or rental car for ETR business will require a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

Location: Remote – Anywhere in the United States.
Starting Pay Range: $117,700-143,900 annually. The typical hiring range for this position is $117,700 - $130,800
at 100% FTE. The starting salary is determined based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience.
