Divert is growing quickly across the country with a large number of infrastructure projects and industry programs dedicated to ensuring no food goes to waste. As we continue to develop, release, and scale new offerings that transform food value chains, we require an exceptional individual to lead business development efforts within our Industrials team. This role will report directly to Divert’s GM/VP, Industrials and lead a national team of Business Development Managers. Central to our continued success over the coming years, this strategic leadership position will have ownership over significant books of business that begin with market discovery and opportunity identification through qualification, close, enablement, and growth. A strong collaborator, this position will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Finance, and Operations with the following core focus areas:
Strategic and Tactical Leadership: Manage, Cultivate, and Drive the Industrials Business Development organization, ensuring priorities, resourcing, execution, communication, and reporting are tightly aligned with the company’s most important objectives.
Market Discovery with the goal of testing and refining our value propositions within numerous customer verticals, including food & beverage manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, and logistics.
Identifying, Qualifying, and Winning New Business by thoughtfully connecting with key Customer stakeholders, developing a rigorous understanding of their needs, creating solutions that leverage our offerings, and successfully closing new business with sophisticated Customers.
Advocating for the Voice of the Customer (VOC) across the organization by ensuring that your team’s understanding of market pain points and opportunities is communicated successfully.
