As a Marketing Director, you'll lead and oversee all marketing efforts, developing and implementing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth, while managing a team and budget effectively.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise that matter most for this role:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in marketing leadership roles, with a strong track record of success within the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in Measurement Solutions, Software & Automation, and/or Metering Systems markets.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective marketing strategies that drive business results.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the marketing landscape, including digital marketing, social media, and other relevant channels.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM, analytics platforms).
Internally: Work cooperatively with sales/business development, product development teams, finance, operations, HR, IT, legal and executive leadership. Direct reports include a team of up to five to support marketing efforts.
Externally: Works with customers/clients/partners, trade show vendors, regulatory/compliance agencies or other marketing/branding/LinkedIn/Social media vendors.
