Reporting to the Vice President – Controller & Treasurer, the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will provide analysis and recommendations to help the business optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and expenditures. This position will prepare models to evaluate and prioritize business initiatives and will also develop and maintain key performance metrics. Job Duties: - Responsible for daily management of the financial analysis function, including supervision of one or more analysts. - Maintain functionality and leverage LongView consolidation software across the global legal entities. - Prepare, review, and distribute monthly corporate financial memo with supporting schedules providing comparisons to a variety of financial metrics. - Investigate significant sales and expense variances and discuss with appropriate management personnel. - Develop monthly SaaS analysis of results. Document significant business issues and financial variances. Investigate and provide explanations of variances, as necessary. - Prepares and assists in miscellaneous analysis, as needed, to help directors and business leaders in decision making. - Responsible for developing the timeline, coordination among all entities and review of global financial plan with Vice President & Director groups. - Responsibility for the monthly forecasting process, including coordination with the same individuals as the annual plan noted above. - Coordinate global transfer price analysis with international entities and outside accounting firm on an annual basis. - Prepare quarterly financial slide presentations for the Board of Directors and other presentations as needed by management. - Coordinate insurance renewals and audits with the Corporate legal Dept. - Foreign income projection for tax provision on Quarterly basis. - Financial gate approver on Project Authorization Requests - Prepare, review, and file various mandatory governmental survey reports. - Comply with the company Code of Business Conduct for both self and subordinates. - Maintain system of internal controls - Assist in detailed strategic and financial due diligence for acquisition and divestiture opportunities, as needed. - Work in conjunction with cross functional leadership to gather input from Sales, Engineering, Operations and support functions to drive business decisions. - Collaborate extensively with Sr Director of Accounting. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree required - 10+ years of related experience preferred Qualifications: - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required. - Ability to forecast, plan, prioritize, rank and recognize financial problems required.
