Description:
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
•Perform complex analyses leveraging large data sets from multiple systems and present actionable insights to cross-functional teams
•Own the design, development, and maintenance of company’s custom web application utilized for internal operations and customers
•Manage 3rd party developers on project execution and spend
•Further develop the site to add or enhance tools by understanding internal day to day operations in detailed way and communicate to all stakeholders
•Oversee development and maintenance of ongoing reports, dashboards, etc. to drive key decisions.
•Build and evolve data visualizations capability that “tell the story” of operational performance and let the data speak for itself while setting the direction for future reporting.
•Bring recommended tools to add to “tech stack” with ability to communicate value to non-technical managers and weigh benefits relative to cost
•Lead and execute integration of such tools into company
•Contribute to automating, standardizing, and publishing existing and new reports and dashboards created with Tableau and PowerBI
•Respond to web app, data and dashboarding requests
•Act as a consultant by understanding business needs and applying business context, to scope data requests, drive insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners.
Requirements:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Information Management or a related degree with analytical emphasis, or equivalent experience
•3+ years’ experience maintaining databases.
•3+ years’ experience using an enterprise cloud-based solution (AWS, Azure or Google).
•Experience working in an agile environment.
•Experience with a data transformation tool.
•Exceptional technical and analytical skills, the ability to visualize complex data sets and provide dynamic solutions and be self-driven.
•The ability to balance speed and quality to ensure the right reporting solutions.
•Experience in end-to-end dashboard delivery, including intake, design, and data modeling.
•Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time
