Directional Driller

We are looking for an experienced Directional Driller to join our team. Class A CDL preferred but not required. Top tier pay plus overtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating horizontal directional drilling equipment to bore holes for natural gas main installation. The Driller will be required to ensure that all safety protocols are followed and that the equipment is operated correctly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety. Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings. Will need basic knowledge of additives for various soil types.

Directional Drills to be used: Vermeer 24X40, Vermeer 23X30, Vermeer 10X15

Locating System to be used: DigiTrak F2, DigiTrak F5

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy machinery and equipment

- Maintain and repair drilling equipment

- Follow safety regulations and procedures

- Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment

- Perform quality control checks on drill sites

- Become Operator Qualified

- Monitor and adjust drilling operations as needed
