Utility Partners of America (UPA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Directional Boring Foreman to lead underground utility installation projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in directional drilling and multi-pipe pullbacks of various sizes.
Key Responsibilities
•Supervise and lead directional boring crews on residential and commercial utility projects.
•Operate and oversee horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment.
•Manage the pullback of multiple conduits and pipes of varying diameters.
•Interpret utility maps and plans to ensure safe and accurate boring paths.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA and DOT standards.
•Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and utility representatives.
•Maintain equipment and ensure job site cleanliness and organization.
•Train and mentor crew members to uphold UPA’s safety and quality standards.
Requirements
•Minimum 8 years of experience in directional boring and multi-pipe pullback operations.
•Strong knowledge of underground utility construction (electric, water, gas, telecom).
•Proven leadership and crew management skills.
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and utility locates.
•Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).
•Must consent to a Background, MVR, and drug screening.
•Strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
