Responsibilities

•

Install and maintain network systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

•

Perform low voltage installations, including cabling and equipment setup.

•

Utilize hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.

•

Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to telecommunications.

•

Operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality of systems.

•

Execute fiber splicing tasks with precision to maintain high-quality connections.

•

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

•

Document all service activities accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

•

Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.

•

Strong understanding of network installation processes and low voltage systems.

•

Proficiency in using hand tools and testing equipment relevant to the field.

•

Familiarity with telephone systems and their installation requirements is preferred.

•

Experience with fiber splicing techniques is a plus.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.

•

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.

•

Willingness to travel for field service assignments as needed.
