Objective :The primary duties of a Senior heavy equipment/truck mechanic includ diagnostic testing on diesel/gas vehicles and to diagnose and repair/replace engines, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system. Must have the ability to perform basic, intermediate and advanced vehicle maintenance and repairs
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with weekends and travel expected.:
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
