Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will assist in repairing various mechanical systems for heavy equipment. This position is perfect for individuals that have experience with hands on field work.
Responsibilities
•Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment such as, excavators, wheel loaders, reclaimers, etc.
•Communicate effectively with team members and management in providing updates on repair status.
•Overhaul or replace worn or damaged parts
•Document repairs performed on equipment for record-keeping purposes.
•Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficient and effectively.
Skills
•Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components.
•Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
•Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to team members.
•Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Diesel Engine Technicians/Mechanics Position Requirements:
•Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
•High school graduate or equivalent
•Associates degree or certificate from technical school preferred
•Previous mechanic work or military experience
•Knowledge of electronic, hydraulic, and engine components
•Ability to demonstrate technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting abilities to define and perform necessary repairs
