Diesel Mechanic

Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related components

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on diesel vehicles and equipment

- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as fuel injectors, water pumps, and brakes

- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed

Qualifications:

- Valid Drivers License required

- Clean Driving Record required

- CDL is a plus, but not required

- Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment and random drug testing.

Skills:

- Proficient in air brake systems and alignment procedures

- Experience with tire service, including installation, rotation, and repair

- Ability to assemble and disassemble complex machinery and equipment

- Knowledge of farm machinery maintenance and repair

- Familiarity with suspension systems and components

- HVAC system troubleshooting and repair skills

- Proficient in the use of hand tools for mechanical work

- Ability to diagnose and repair transmission issues

- Automotive diagnostics experience for identifying engine problems
