We are seeking a Diesel Vacuum Truck/ Hydro blasting Equipment Repair Mechanic to perform services on heavy duty trucks and equipment at our Deer Park Facility. Types of Equipment: Light/Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks Diesel Engines. Cat/Cummins Engines, Transmissions. 12/24 Volt vehicle electrical systems. Water Blasting Equipment. Heavy Duty Vacuum Trucks. Air Machines. Duties of the Diesel-Heavy Duty Industrial Vacuum Truck / Equipment Mechanic may include: Must be capable of working on electrical wiring. Perform diagnostics, trouble shooting and put together repair plans. Computer diagnostic experience a plus but not mandatory. Must possess DOT inspections understanding. Evaluate Performance of all drive train component work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, steering systems. Ability to install, adjust or align brakes, and wheels and wheel components such as bearings and air brake and valve systems to diagnose and repair braking and valve systems. Knowledge of air/electric/hydraulic brake and valve systems to diagnose and repair braking and valve systems. Knowledge of vehicle body control systems including electronics, AC and hydraulic systems. Perform preventative maintenance on all units as scheduled. High Pressure Jetting Equipment knowledge a plus. High Velocity Industrial Vacuum Equipment knowledge mandatory. Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor. Qualifications: Must have a minimum 3 years Diesel Mechanic experience. Technical Institute Training certificate is preferred but not required. Must have own heavy duty tools. Must have reliable transportation. Basic understanding of OSHA, Fire Protection regulations, fall protection. Follow all Safety, Personal Protective and Equipment Policies. Must have valid driver's license. Must have a clean driving record. Must possess the ability to pass random drug screens. CDL and TWIC card a plus.
