Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of industrial equipment in addition to rebuilding motors. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet, and it requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about mechanics and problem-solving.
Duties
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
•
Rebuilds
•
Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
•
Assemble and align components according to schematics and specifications.
•
Conduct tire service, including installation, rotation, and balancing.
•
Execute automotive diagnostics to identify malfunctions in air brake systems and other components.
•
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
•
Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
Experience
•
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role in automotive or industrial settings.
•
Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and schematics for troubleshooting.
•
Familiarity with air brake systems and tire service techniques is highly desirable.
•
Strong mechanical aptitude with a commitment to safety standards.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
