General Summary:

Performs a variety of die distributing duties including but not limited to die set up, break down, safety inspections, general housekeeping and die cleaning (caustic) safely and efficiently.

What is the Job?

- Responsible for servicing the presses by setting up dies according to production schedules.

- Ensures correct die is installed in the press by referencing necessary reports.

- Process dies in caustic tanks, drains, and treats spent caustic.

- Operates filter press to ensure proper waste handling.

- Assist with assembly of the dies and return them to designated location after die correctors are finished preparing/repairing dies.

- Operates small hand tools including, but not limited to a hammer and chisel.

What You Bring:

- Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment, especially extrusion operations preferred, but not required.

- Experience with small hand tools is helpful.

- Previous experience operating a forklift and/or overhead crane beneficial.
