Die Casting Mold Set Up Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tooling Setup Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in high pressure die casting process. This role manages accurate and efficient setup of molds/trim dies for production while implementing improvements to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.

- Maintain thorough documentation of processes, inspections, and modifications made during setup.

Experience

Candidates should have experience in the following areas:

- Proficiency in high pressure die casting processes.

- Strong background in assembly processes within a manufacturing environment.

- Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements and material requirements.

- Familiar with cavities, cores, features, nests and cutting edges to match the part print.

Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM with a 30 minute unpaid lunch

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

- Mechanical assembly: 2 years (Required)

- Die Casting: 1 year (Preferred)
