Duties and Responsibilities:

Drillers and Helpers are responsible to safely operate specialized surface mechanical equipment, tools or instruments to provide services in conjunction with specific drilling projects. Some of the specific task will include but are not limited to the following:

· Direct rig crew in setting up rigs, perform drilling operations, completing or servicing

· Responsible for ensuring daily pre-shift inspections are completed for all the equipment

· Ensure daily toolbox/safety meetings are conducted and documented

· Operate controls of drilling rig and/or support equipment

· Train workers under their direction in job duties, safety procedures and company policies

· Document and record status of drilling operations

· Assemble and attach equipment, tools or recorders to drill stem or wireline to conduct required procedures and tests

Required Experience and Certifications:

· Experience as a Driller (3+ years) and/or Helper (1+ year) on diamond drill rigs

· Diamond Drilling Common Core (or equivalent) is considered an asset
