Detailer

Produce detailed shop drawings and part breakdowns from architectural or structural plans.

Complete accurate material take-offs and assist with bills of materials.

Collaborate with engineers, estimators, and production staff to ensure accuracy.

Draft in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software (2D and 3D as needed).

Maintain revision control and project documentation.

1–3 years of detailing or drafting experience in metal fabrication or construction.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience with architectural metals, stairs, railings, or steel a plus.

This job operates in a job shop environment, routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position also requires the use of tape measures, micrometers, calipers and other types of standard measuring equipment.
